ONE VOICE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Welcome to the Haitian Immigrant Bail Assistance Project

HIBAP works mainly to assist Haitian immigrants in deportation and removal proceedings. HIBAP helps those immigrants who cannot afford to pay bail/bond. Our Mission is to provide support and encouragement to immigrants fighting for their fundamental rights. HIBAP wants justice and fairness in the immigration system, so that immigrants facing deportation/removal and certain grounds for exclusion may have access to representation and a fair trail. We believe that justice has no berders, and that immigrants should be treated equally and fairly regardless of their citizenship status or lack thereof.

“Our Lives Begin To End The Day We Become Silent About Things That Matter.” -Martin Luther King Jr.

Right now, countless detained Haitian immigrants have no friends, family members, or a community to call upon. Quite often, no one knows that they are placed in these detention facilities. They are just lost in a system that abused and deprived them of [human] rights. They need you to be their voices. Be the voice of those who can’t by contributing to this bail/bond payment for Haitian Immigrants.
